Our puppies and dogs are born and live on a 120 acre farm devoted to our dogs and cattle. We breed for the love of the Australian Cattle Dog (ACD). Our dogs are of high, sound quality, both physically and mentally. Our dogs are loyal and devoted to their person or family. They are trustworthy and brave. We consider them members of our family. Our home includes as many dog pictures in frames as it does of our human family. They are treated with the love and respect they have earned and deserve. We mainly breed for great companion/pet family members. We do sell working prospects to the rancher/farmer that needs a helping hand, but even with the natural instincts that they are born with, they still have to be trained. On occasion we sell show prospects, but have generally found that our clients prefer the type of heeler we breed and raise. Therefore, we strive to the best of our ability to produce companion and working dogs with the proper personalities and attitude. If you are interested in an ACD as your next family member – we ask that you please do some research. Talk to those that you know have owned or do own an ACD. View our website and other sites as well. After your research, if you still feel that this is the right kind of dog for you, please visit our site for AVAILABLE LITTERS and feel free to contact us. We are always glad to answer any questions you may have and discuss the breed with you. After all, the Australian Cattle Dog is the "MOST WONDERFUL BREED IN THE WORLD"!!!!!! At Circle W, as the time nears for a female to whelp, she is brought inside where she will feel safe and comfortable. This allows us to check on her several times a day. Our puppies are handled from birth with lots of love, care and individual attention.
Our puppies are all kept on a strict de-worming schedule. They are given their 1st set of shots and vet checked for soundness. As caring breeders, we breed not for monetary gain, but for the pleasure and love of this great breed. There is nothing better than a 3 week old pup wobbling around on unsure legs, that turns and wags it’s tail just at the sound of your voice… that is love in a tiny body. Our Heelers are naturally weaned by their mother (some breeders separate them from mom at 4 weeks and they only see her at night). By allowing mom to wean them naturally, pups are produced that:
Circle W puppies are reasonably priced so that anyone who has always dreamed of having an Australian Cattle Dog can see that dream come true. Our puppies remain with us until they are at least 8 weeks old. This makes for a better transition for both pup and new owner. We do keep in contact with our clients and are always here to help in any way. If for any reason one of our pups needs to be re-homed, please return to us. Our home is always open. We have only American Kennel Club registered dogs. We are not with any other clubs or registries (i.e. CKC), for that reason we ask that the puppies we sell remain only AKC registered puppies.
